About Us – HeartLine Naija

It’s Not Charity — It’s Love in Action.

We’re a Nigerian-led nonprofit empowering families with tools to protect their health—starting with the heart.

Founder’s Story

HeartLine Naija was created in response to a pattern I repeatedly witnessed in clinical care.

As a nurse working in community hospitals and now in neurology, I saw how often life-altering health crises especially strokes were the result of conditions that had gone undetected for years. The issue was rarely advanced medicine. More often, it was the absence of early screening, practical education, and basic tools that allow people to act before a crisis.

That same gap exists far beyond the hospital walls.

I’ve seen this gap both locally and globally. In Los Angeles, instability and limited access make basic health protection difficult. In Nigeria, where my roots are, prevention is often treated as optional clinics are distant, resources inconsistent, and symptoms normalized until it’s too late.

HeartLine Naija was created to respond to those gaps in real, tangible ways.

We focus on early detection, community-based education, and dignity-centered support meeting people where they are rather than waiting for emergencies to bring them into care.

This work is not symbolic.

It is practical, targeted, and necessary.

HeartLine Naija exists because access to basic health knowledge and tools should not depend on geography, proximity, or privilege.

HeartLine Naija turns these lived experiences into community-based action.
